In this module of the digital marketing master we have learned how to create a own website from scratch. In this post, I'll tell you step by step how I did it, what tools we used in class, and everything I learned along the way, in case you're interested in creating your own.

1. Buy the domain and set up WordPress

1. Buy the domain and set up WordPress Don Dominio, a simple and intuitive platform. Then I installed WordPress, a super complete tool to build websites without needing to know how to program.

2. Design with Divi

For the design we used Divi, a template the professor suggested to us that works with a visual builder. It's very easy to use and allows you to design your website in blocks, simply by dragging and dropping elements.

Web structure

I have focused my website as a CV onlineI have focused my website as a

  • About me, where I share a little more about who I am and my interests.

  • Blog, donde estás leyendo esto y donde iré subiendo todo lo que voy aprendiendo.

  • Experience, where I explain my professional career in more detail.

4. What I take away from the process

  • I've learned that having your own website is a very powerful way to show who you are.

  • That design matters, but the most important thing is to have clear and well-organized content.

  • What tools like WordPress and Divi do create a website that is accessible for anyone eager to learn.

  • And writing about what you learn helps you understand it better and share it with others.

I haven't included any photos because this website is the final result. So if you've made it this far, you're already seeing it in action! 😊
