After working on my personal brand, the next module was more practical and visual: Photoshop.
Although I had already used it on occasion, this block has helped me consolidate the basics and familiarize myself with new tools and functions that I was not familiar with.

During the classes, we explored different aspects of design: how to work with layers, masks, selection tools, text, image adjustments, and composition. All from a general perspective, without focusing on a specific use, but with room to experiment and create your own pieces.

Here I share two of the designs I created during the module, each with its own focus and meaning:

Rain of Gublins

In this first design I wanted to make a nod to my current workplace, inspired by the movie "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs".
The idea was to adapt that concept to the universe of
Gublins de Grefusa, creating an image that connects with something that's part of my everyday life. This exercise allowed me to work on combining different visual elements, such as characters, objects, and background, and to practice aspects such as composition, the use of scale, and visual coherence within the whole.

Helen’s Beer – Lisboa Edition

This design is a mockup simulated, as if it were the launch of my own beer: Helen’s Beer.
I used a personal image in which I appear with a Super Bock, a typical beer from Portugal, and I integrated it with a base of Lisbon, the city where I lived for a while. The idea was to combine personal and visual elements to explore a more commercial approach and play with brand building through graphic design.

Photoshop is a very comprehensive tool, with tons of options. I learned a lot in this module, especially on the technical side, and it helped me better understand how to work with images, compose, and apply the basics in a more organized way.
I still have a lot to learn, but I already have a foundation on which I can continue to practice and improve over time.
